You have 25 documents on an evidence portal that need to go to Clio. The slow part isn't Clio's uploader — it's the round trip to the web page for every single file:

Automatic zip extraction
Upload a zip file and Send to Case extracts everything inside. Each document uploads individually to your matter, properly organized and ready to use.
Clio caps individual documents at 5 GB per file — each file you drag in and each item extracted from a zip counts individually against that 5 GB limit, so a large archive is fine as long as no single member exceeds it. Confirm current limits in Clio's help center.
The archive itself has limits too. A zip from your computer can hold up to 250 files and be up to 25 GB. A zip from a web page can hold up to 100 files; it can be up to 25 GB when the site reports its size before the download, and up to 10 GB when it does not. An archive over its limit is refused with a message saying so — split it into smaller archives.

How does the batch page scanning work?
+Right-click anywhere on a page and select 'Find Downloadable Files'. The extension scans the page for document links (PDFs, Word docs, images, etc.) and presents them in a list. You can then select which files to upload.
Can I upload a zip file and extract its contents to Clio?
+Yes, when you upload a zip file, Send to Case automatically extracts all the files inside and uploads them individually to your matter. Each file appears separately in Clio, ready to use.
Is there a limit to how many files I can batch upload?
+It depends how the batch starts. Dragging, pasting or picking files from your computer tops out at 50 files per batch. A zip from your computer can hold up to 250 files; a zip the extension finds on a page can hold up to 100. Pasting download links into the popup takes up to 500 links at once. Each file can be up to 5GB. Every file counts toward your monthly upload limit either way — free users get 10 uploads per month, while Pro users get unlimited uploads.
How large can a zip file be?
+A zip you choose from your computer can be up to 25 GB. A zip downloaded from a link or a scanned page can be up to 25 GB when the site reports the download's size up front, and up to 10 GB when it does not, because the extension then has to count the bytes as they arrive. An archive over the limit is refused with a message saying so, before the upload starts or as soon as the limit is crossed. Separately, no document inside the zip can exceed Clio's 5 GB cap. If you hit the limit, split the archive into smaller zips.
What file types can I bulk upload to Clio?
+Any file type that Clio supports: PDFs, Word documents, Excel files, images, videos, audio files, and more. Files up to 5GB each are supported.
What if a big batch upload doesn't finish?
+Anything that finished uploading before the interruption is already a real document in the matter — files go up one at a time, so completed ones aren't lost. A file caught mid-upload can leave an empty or incomplete entry. Re-run the batch for whatever didn't make it; matching names make the gaps easy to spot. Send to Case never deletes from Clio, by design, so remove any stray partial entry yourself in Clio's Documents area. That no-delete rule is intentional: the tool can add to your matters but never remove from them, so it can never delete the wrong document.
